FIESTA Communities initiates Fire Safety Awareness to its Homeowners

In the observance of Fire Prevention Month, FIESTA Communities, Inc. supports the Bureau of Fire Protection in its campaign and joins the nation in preventing fire this whole month of March 2010. As per mandate of Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A which declares the month of March as Fire Prevention Month.

 With the theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Month “Sustaining Fire Prevention through Active Community Participation”, FIESTA Communities, Inc. initiated an interactive Fire Prevention Seminar for its homeowners. Thru the help of Porac Fire Station headed by FO2 Ramon Angeles, the Porac fire marshals disseminated basic information on how to prevent and stop fire.

 The fire marshals focused their discussions on the causes and types of fire. While many of us are familiar with the fire extinguisher, only a few knows how to use it that’s why they also demonstrated how to use fire extinguisher properly. The homeowners actively participated in the fire drill and demonstration on March 20, 2011

 With the scorching summer heat intensified by El Niño, it is important that everyone should do their part to ensure their safety and promote fire prevention. It rings true that it’s better to be safe than sorry.
